Dr. Williams received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with Honor from Michigan State University in 1961. He owned and managed a four doctor veterinary medical practice in Manchester, Connecticut for 29 years.

He is a past president of the Hartford County Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Williams served 5 years as Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association. He has also held elective municipal offices as a member of the Board of Finance and the Board of Education in Hebron, Connecticut. In 1978 he was a candidate for election to the Connecticut State Legislature.

Dr. Williams is a licensed Real Estate Broker in five states.  As a principal of Professional Practice Sales and a founding member of VPSG, he primarily serves as a broker representing practices for sale; he has also been very active representing the interests of buyers in acquiring practices not represented by PPS.  Dr. Williams is a private pilot and boating enthusiast.
